Tattoo artist Giovanni Barletta

Giovanni Barletta, better known as Jumanji.

Giovanni is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Known as the City of Fury, the city is a complete jungle compared to those we are used to in the west.

Giovanni has been in the tattoo industry since 2008 when he bought two National Tattoo machines, they were like sent from heaven, Giovanni steps into an old store imported vintage electronics that sits a very old Japanese man and chairman him lies the machines and to Giovanni's big dream and love of the art of tattooing, he knows that this is the path he must take.

Giovanni went to university in 2009 and studied and worked throughout his career.

He graduated from Palermo University in 2013, as an industrial designer and illustrator, and here he developed a once tattoo machine as a final exam.

He has been working as a professional tattoo artist since 2015

He studied with Leandro Tusso, an artist from Japanese old school in Quilmes, Buenos Aires (1990).

Giovanni travels the world and arrives in Copenhagen in May 2016, knowing that this would not be his final destination, he has traveled to more than 30 countries and worked on all continents, regardless of the style of the store, he has always been able to find items that added he way in this profession. In some cases, he has tattooed everything from a jungle to a 5-star hotel.

Giovanni is diverse and has no assigned style, he prefers to let the project enter the store and from there solve it in the most aesthetically correct way. For this reason, he considers himself an artistic tattoo artist with a solid craft.

Giovanni sees your anatomical structure, and expects his knowledge from ancient Japan, with simplicity, finesse and the traditional American tattoo style he can make and design all fonts and letters.

Giovanni's motto is, timeless motifs like us are modern mornings.

Giovanni came one day by chance in the basement of Nyhavn 17, here he saw light and stepped in to greet the oldest tattoo shop in the world, and lucky he got a place in the shop and to his great surprise against all expectations he came in the store to stay.
