Laura was born with a pencil in one hand and a brush in the other. As a child she used to draw her days away, so it wasn’t unnatural, that she eventually got a big interest in tattoos. At the age of 15 she started visiting the tattoo artists that periodically showed up in the Faroe Islands, watching and helping them as much as she could. A true passion was born.
When the first tattoo convention arrived on the islands, she volunteered to work there right away. Never missing a convention, she has volunteered since 2012 and has truly found her place among the other tattoo artists.
She started her apprenticeship at Tattoo Ole in the fall of 2021 and is stationed in her hometown of Tórshavn.
Laura is a self-taught artist and is technically versatile. She works in all kinds of media, acrylics, aquarelle, ink, pencil drawings, digital, embroidery, etc. She likes working with illustrations, portraits, cartoons. Mostly she connects with the subject of the human form and the human experience.
